But there are so many more things at work beneath the surface, so let's dive a little deeper
First things first...
Unlike this jellyfish, we have brains,
so we don't use AI.
Secondly,
TheCurrent was created amidst a slew of political uproars, international conflicts, and economic instability. I (Teresa) felt an immense need for students to be, at the very least, aware of the things happening in the world. None, and I mean none, of us have the privilege to be ignorant of the politics around us. We are and will be affected by the decisions made by leaders today. So are our friends and family, as well as all the kids and teenagers and sisters and brothers around the world.
So yes, it is that deep.
Lastly,
Our mission as the writers and editors of TheCurrent is to educate, not to convince. We try to remain objective, reference various sources, and provide multiple perspectives on all subject matters. This passionate team works tirelessly to provide the most accurate and up-to-date articles every week. This is how we show we care.
And of course, thank you for your support. It is like dopamine in our veins. So, please don't hestitate to reach out to any of us with your inquiries, requests, and feedback.
